Work Health and Safety Management
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) is one of the foremost concerns when managing and planning a project. At Auspave we have developed an Australian Standard AS4801 compliant WHS system that has also been accredited by the NSW Department of Commerce. Our workplace changes as the sites of the projects change and to ensure the safety of our workers, we make sure that they are aware of all the health and safety protocols for safe and accident-free work environments.
The natural as well as the man-made environment both need protection and care. At Auspave we ensure that all our practices have minimal impact on our surroundings. We collaborate with affiliated stakeholders and encourage our workers to use practices that have minimal impact on the environment. We maintain a close check on our practices through environmental systems that comply with the Australian & New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS ISO14001). Our concern for environmental management is not just an idea. We have put it into practice by integrating sustainability into Auspave’s manual and project documentation systems.
At Auspave, we are concerned about the community. We understand that our projects can disrupt the lives of those who live and work near our sites. Community relations are integral to us because of our firm belief in the value of good relationships. To this end, we make sure to proactively take measures to mitigate any issues that might be caused by our construction work. We have community liaison officers helping us to communicate the impact of the work being carried out on the residents. This understanding goes a long way in helping us reduce disruption and to create goodwill among the communities. We take pride in our work and in our ability to leave behind legacies that will last for ages to come.
